This composition was made possible thanks to a scholarship I received from Förderverein für Kunst, Medien und Forschung e.V. Artistic Director Saule Tatubaeva commissioned me to compose a lively and energetic piece for piano trio.

Despite what the title might suggest, it is merely a play on words. The piece initially begins with a dark and somber tone but gradually transitions to a more positive and uplifting atmosphere. As the composition progresses, it evolves into a vibrant display of positivity, culminating in a dance-like sequence in 7/8 meter. In this section, the violin and cello take turns playing the main melody while the piano provides the driving force underneath.
